Recipe--Orange Smoothie

As I shared yesterday, it has been quite warm in our area for the past week. One of our favorite ways to beat the heat is with a good smoothie. This recipe for orange smoothie is one of our favorites because we almost always have the ingredients on hand, and it is very refreshing! Let us know if you get a chance to try it on this warm weekend!

Orange Smoothie

12 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate
2 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar (we omit, or use two squirts of agave)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
24 ice cubes (2 cups)

Place all ingredients in blender; blend to desired consistency. Makes 3-4 large servings, or 6-8 small servings.

  4. I believe that Dairy Queen sells an Orange Julius, Amy. I haven't had one in forever, but usually I think homemade is better!
