We have had very strange weather the past year. This spring was the wettest on record, we had a very humid summer with a plague of mosquitoes, a short autumn, and a very mild winter. On Sunday morning this past weekend, it started snowing just before we left for church. On the way home, we ran across a few cars on the side of the road, and the visibility was very limited due to the swirling snow. By Tuesday, everything had melted and the temperatures were in the 50’s! It felt as if we were having April in January! Such pleasant weather begged for an extended outdoor recess. We enjoyed going on our first family walk of the year.

It was so windy out! Rubia and I had our hair flying all over the place during our walk. |

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like it was unusually warm across the whole country, Amy. I only hope the trees don't start budding to early only too be killed by a sudden deep freeze!
