Our First Park Day!

Yesterday, we were able to attend our first park day of the year! Every year, we try to go to one park day a month with our old homeschool group. We can’t do it very often, as we have to drive quite a ways to get there. But it’s always a highlight of our month to visit with our friends!

Some of the girls had fun playing a game of hot potato. Only they called it Cold Potato since the ball was blue. J

Lunchtime brings much hustle-and-bustle to the little pavilion. Lots of good visiting goes on during lunch.

After lunch, some of us girls decided to go for a walk in the woods and take some photos together.

It was rather interesting for me to try to set the timers on the camera, and jump onto the log before the camera went off!

We are blessed with so many wonderful friends!

  When I took this picture, I thought I was going to fall over. Balancing on the log and taking a picture at the same time was almost too much for me. J

Ben and his friend M have fun “monkey-ing around” on the swings.

 

After spending most of the day at the park, we stopped by our friends’ house to visit with them a little bit more. They have become such close friends and we feel like family to each other! We girls had a pleasant conversation on the lawn.

We were quite sad when we had to leave. L But we are hoping to go to another park day sometime next month!
