Texas is known for its state flower, the Blue
Bonnet. In early April, these little wildflowers begin to bloom. They create
carpets in open fields and along freeways. Everyone takes time to find a field
of flowers and take portraits. So if you want to see beautiful blue carpets of
flowers, Texas is the place to be. J
I remember learning about the Blue Bonnets a couple of years ago when we went to Dallas. I was hoping to see one but we were a little late in June.

"Everything's better with Blue Bonnet on it" Ask your Mom & Dad if they remember this commercial :-)

I hope that one day you'll get to see the Blue Bonnets in person, Carmen! They really are beautiful!

Ugh, the thought of Blue Bonnet margarine actually makes me gag a bit, Aunt Debbie! :-) I know a little too much about margarine to want to put it in my body. But I will see if Mom and Dad remember the commercial!
