After
having a sleepover in my room the night before, they enjoyed a breakfast of
toast, scrambled eggs, and berries left over from our Memorial Day dessert.
|
After breakfast, we let them play awhile and
then we made peanut butter cookies together! They both love to help out in the
kitchen.
Somebody
also loves to eat cookie dough. J |
While
the cookies baked, Josiah read them both a story. |
After
they ate lunch, we took them on a walk. They got to watch the turtles in the
pond, pet the neighbor’s horses, and more. |
When they got back, we made orange
smoothies together and then they relaxed and watched a short movie. Once
the movie was finished, I gave them both a bath, put on their pj’s, and packed
up their things.
Meanwhile,
Mama Betsy made them this adorable dinner! This is always a hit with kids.
|
Towards
the end of their time at our house, EJ got so tired, she fell asleep! Poor
thing was probably so tired after going to bed late the night before and not
having a nap that day.
|
They kids were quite excited when their Mommy
and Daddy arrived! We had such a good time with them, and were so glad to have
that opportunity to serve their family!
I served my babysittees octopus the other day, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a chance to try the octopus dinner, Amy! It's so fun. :-)

You are a great babysitter. My boys LOVED coming to your house!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to do special holiday activities with kids, Olivia! The octopus dish is always a big hit with the kids. It combines a lot of their favorite foods: hot dogs, mac and cheese, and goldfish crackers! :-)
