Guatemala Send-Off Service and Meeting at Our House

This past Sunday marked 2 weeks until the missions trip to Guatemala that Ben and I will be going on with a group from our church. Because many members of the team will be out of town this upcoming Sunday, we had our send-off service in church this past Sunday. The members of the team who were present were introduced to the congregation, and then they laid hands upon us and prayed for us.

That afternoon, we had our final team meeting before the trip. We hosted it at our house.

We had a light dinner of bagels with all the toppings, orange slices, grapes, pretzel salad, M&M cookies, popcorn, sweet tea, and water.

After our meeting, a few people stuck around and we played some volleyball and yard games. We are getting so excited about the trip! Please pray for us as we finalize our preparations!
