First Birthday Party

On Labor Day, we had the opportunity to go to a First birthday party! Over the summer, I nannyed for a family from church. Their littlest was the one celebrating. C is such a sweet and easy baby, and I am blessed to be able to continue watching him this fall.

The decorations were adorable! The theme was a picnic in the park. Miss A had little boxes packed with sandwiches, chips, and fruit. They also had little pouches of applesauce, packets of fruit snacks, juice boxes, and little water bottles. They had spread out blankets for each family and had little wooden baskets for folks to collect all their dinner things and then settle down to eat!

The little kids loved the fact that the party was at the park! It was pretty warm that evening, but thankfully there was some shade for the adults.

Singing “Happy Birthday.” The cake was delicious! It was a vanilla cake, and there were also mini s’more cupcakes, which were definitely a hit!

I am so blessed to watch these boys! I love them both so much and am excited to watch them grow up!
