Mom's Birthday Celebration

Earlier this month, we celebrated Mom’s birthday! Our celebration was low-key, but still fun!

We went out for a nice dinner at Red Lobster. We rarely go there, so it was a special treat.

Mom and Dad at the restaurant. We were also joined by one of our Home-Away-From-Home students, O. He was actually at home that week, but drove an hour to join us for the night!

The food was delicious! I admit to being rather shocked when mine came out; it was enough for four people! I had leftovers for days. J

After dinner, we came home and enjoyed Mom’s favorite birthday cake: Chocolate Turtle Cake! With ice cream of course. J Because that’s how our family rolls!

Then we gave Mom her cards and gifts!

We are so grateful to have Mom! She is an incredible blessing to all of us, and is truly a Proverbs 31 and Titus 2 woman. We look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with her!
