Another VG's Fundraiser

Last week, our family participated in another VG’s Fundraising night to raise money for our trip to Haiti this summer. You can read more about how the fundraiser works here.

Our experience at VG’s was much different than the first time! Just a couple of weeks earlier, we had been sweating in 80-degree heat, and had to leave an hour early because of a thunderstorm. This time, the temperatures were just barely in the 40’s. We were all thoroughly numb by the end of the night!

We were very thankful that the sun stayed out during our time there.

Just to clarify, we really aren’t as chubby as these pictures make us look! J We had many, many layers—including jackets—underneath our shirts to keep ourselves warm during our three-hour stay at the store-front.

So far, the fundraiser has been a big success for our team. We’re so grateful to see how God is faithfully providing the funds needed for our trip. When we are obedient to His call in our lives—whether it be regarding missions or any other area—He will bless our obedience and provide all we need. He is so good!
