Recipe--Chicken Cacciatore

We love using slow-cooker recipes in our family. It’s so simple to throw a few ingredients into the crockpot after breakfast, and not worry about dinner until it’s time to serve! This is one of our favorite recipes, and we hope you all enjoy it as well.

Chicken Cacciatore

6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 28-oz. jar spaghetti sauce
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, minced
2 Tablespoons minced garlic
Cooked spaghetti noodles

Place chicken in a slow cooker; top with remaining ingredients (except noodles). Cover; cook on high setting for 5 hours. Shred chicken with two forks and stir well. Serve over hot spaghetti noodles. Serves 6-8 people. Enjoy!

I love slow cooker recipes :) Chicken breasts vary in size. I am guessing 6 would be about 2 pounds?

I would say to just use enough chicken to serve your size family. It just depends how much sauce you want. If you want more sauce, use less chicken, or vice versa. It's a very forgiving recipe!
