Mark—My favorite seasons are late spring and summer. I love the long days that June brings. I also love the warmer weather.

Betsy—Fall is my favorite season. I love the crisp, cool mornings, the freshness of the air, the vivid blue skies...I love the gorgeous fall colors; the smell of woodsmoke in the air; the sound of crackling leaves when you rake, or walk through them in the yard. I love fall foods, and fall clothes, and hot coffee or cider on fall mornings. Fall also means the start of school, and I love school--whether learning or teaching. I'm pretty well convinced that my corner of heaven has the look, smell, sound and taste of Fall!

Bianca—My favorite season is most certainly summer! I love the warm weather, going to the beach and the pool, visiting relatives, grilling, eating outdoors, having bonfires with s’mores, working in my garden, enjoying fresh produce, having more free time to enjoy, and staying up late! But a second favorite season would be spring. It’s starting to warm up and the trees and flowers begin to bud and bloom. And I get to plan my garden and put it in!

Ben—My reasons for why I love the season of fall is gridiron based. I love watching football and tossing football in the yard. But football is not the only reason I like fall; I also love the beautiful colors, raking leaves, and the fresh cool air. I also love winter, until after Christmas and New Years. By February, winter gets boring. I like making snow forts and sledding during the winter months.

Rubia—My favorite seasons are spring and fall. I like spring because it makes me happy to see the flowers growing. I like fall because of all the colors and the fresh air. I also enjoy getting good apples from the orchard and making applesauce. And of course I love raking leaves!

Roma—I really like summer! I love going on vacation and visiting relatives and going swimming. Another thing I like to do in the summer is put on my boots and wade around in the creek behind our house. I also like fall because of all the colors and going to an apple orchard and having apple cider! And I like making homemade applesauce and raking leaves.

Josiah—My favorite seasons are summer and winter. I like summer because I can run around and wear t-shirts and shorts, and we get to go swimming. What I like about winter is that we get to have snowball fights and make snowmen.

My favorite season is spring, with fall as a second. I love the colors of the changing seasons and the magical light that often appears in the morning and evenings.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to hear all your favorite seasons! Like Amy, my favorite season is spring, followed by fall. Though I really like summer and winter as well!
ReplyDeleteI too love the colors of the changing seasons, Amy! Our world would be so dull without all the beautiful colors God has given to us!

There are aspects of all the seasons that I enjoy too, Sarah! It can be hard to pick a "favorite" when I like a little bit of them all.
