Roma and Rubia's Birthday Pictures

As I mentioned last week, my Memorial Day project was to take the twins’ birthday pictures. These two are quite photogenic and always have posing ideas, so our session goes by quite quickly and easily!

They specifically wanted pictures by the wheat fields down the road from us. It was a bit of a challenge shooting out in the open in the middle of the afternoon because of the harsh sunlight (and lots of wind.) But thankfully it was a cloudy day, so there were brief moments when the light was softened!

Since we had the car with us, we decided to do a little exploring. We drove down another road and came across a set of train tracks.

Then we drove back up the road and stopped by a clump of trees next to an old cattle pasture.
This was taken down in our pecan grove.
Two beauties in the pecan grove. J

Love this one!
Down by our pond.

Now, it’s time to vote for your favorite picture! Please leave us a comment!

Beautiful! :) It's hard to choose- probably number 6 (the second to last one) :). I also like the one on the train tracks. Aren't y'all hot with all that hair? It's pretty, though. :)

Happy (Late) Birthday, Roma and Rubia! May you be blessed and continue to follow hard after the Lord! :)

Love In Christ,
Alexis

If I had to pick a favorite, I'd probably say the first. When I first saw it, I thought it was a painting! :)

I never replied to Roma's comment on our Mother's Day Out post. She asked why Lydia hadn't come along and it was for one main reason: we didn't want to drive our 15-passenger van around Richmond. :) Not only does it get terrible gas mileage but it's a challenge to take into a city. So we opted for our Avalon...it fits 6 people, so she couldn't come. (She didn't really care either way. :0) I hope that answers your question!

Hope y'all are doing well!
Kimber :)

P.S. - Sweet Frog is AMAZING! You've got to go!

Thanks for the comment, Alexis! I think everyone agrees #6 is the one we need to frame in our living room. Yes, it's a little challenging having hair like ours, and we've been tempted many times to cut it shoulder length, but other times dream of having hair to our knees. If it gets too hot, it's easy to pin up.

Thank you!

It's so nice to hear from you Olivia! We miss you and all Michiganders so much!! :-) Glad you like the pictures. Bianca was a fantastic photographer from the time she was 12 years old.

Thank you!

I think we agree, Amy. It might be hard to choose between other ones though. There's quite a lot to look through.

I think the second to last one is winning, Aunt Noelle. :-)

I guess we really have grown. When we first started going to the same church as you guys, we were only 9 years old. Wow.

Love ya.

I'm glad you liked the first one Kimber! Wow...it looked like a painting-really?!

We are doing well.

Thanks for answering my comment by the way. At least Lydia didn't mind staying. :-)

Sweet Frog is definitely on a bucket list!

Snooping through the comments looking for the winner. I have to ask, "Zombie Twins"?

I'll answer for you, Aunt Debbie. :-) When Ruby and I were toddlers, we would scream at the top of our lungs and waddle over to daddy like zombies EVERY night when he got home from work. I imagine it drove him crazy. :-) He just recently started calling us "zombie twins" again.
