Favorite TV Programs

This topic is a bit difficult for us because we really don’t’ watch TV. We don’t even have cable! We have an antenna that gets us about 15 free channels and that’s all. We don’t have many “favorites,” and we usually watch them if we are away from home at a place that has cable. Just for the record, we probably turn the TV on once a week. J Do not be deceived and think that just because it is a “favorite” that we watch it all the time!

Mark—I enjoy “Aviators,” “Motor Week,” and “This Old House.” I also enjoy anything on the military channel (even though we don’t get it at home.)

Betsy—As Bianca said, we don’t watch much TV at home. So instead, we have collected some of our favorite series on DVD. I enjoy “The Andy Griffith Show,” “Ozzie and Harriet,” and “Little House on the Prairie.” Even with these, I generally favor the earlier shows—some of the later ones contain a not-so-subtle feminist agenda that I personally don’t care for. And I very much enjoy the Dugger family series on DVD.

Bianca—I would have to say that “19 and Counting” (The Duggar family’s TV show) would be my favorite (even though I have only seen the show on DVD.) I also enjoy occasionally watching “This Old House” and “Ask This Old House” with Dad on Saturday afternoon. I like cooking shows, especially “America’s Test Kitchen.” And I also like “Home with Lisa Quinn.”

Ben—When the show is clean, I like to watch “Mythbusters.” I also enjoy “19 Kids and Counting.” And I also really enjoy “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”

Rubia—I like “The Andy Griffith Show” on DVD. I also like “Ozzie and Harriet,” “19 Kids and Counting,” and any cooking show.

Roma—I like “America’s Funniest Home Videos.” I also like “19 Kids and Counting” and “The Andy Griffith Show” on DVD.

Josiah—I like “Curious George,” “Clifford: My Big Red Dog,” and “Huckleberry Hound” (from when Daddy was a kid!)
