This week Roma has been packing away the penny church. I suppose a statement like that deserves an explanation! J
When Ben was younger, he LOVED playing with our 1000+ penny collection. His favorite pastime with these pennies was creating a church. He would line all of his pennies up in rows and hold services for them.
For several years, the pennies have not been used as Ben has outgrown his penny church. So we finally decided that it was time to say goodbye to the thousands of pennies we have accumulated, and Roma has been packing them in rolls this week. But Ben will always have many wonderful memories of having his “own” mega church in our living room! J

My cousin's girls play church with plastic animals. They line them up and preach to them. They've never done it with pennies though.
We used to have concerts and church services with our stuffed animals, Amy. But Ben was the only one who used pennies!
