This was one of the new recipes our family
tried for our Thanksgiving feast last month. It is very hard to go wrong in our
family with the peanut and fudge combination. J So needless to
say, this frozen pie was a hit!
Virginia Peanut Fudge Pie
1 prepared graham cracker crust
Filling:
1 cup chocolate fudge sauce, warmed
½ cup peanut butter
1 3-oz package cream cheese, room temperature
12 ounces whipped topping (Cool Whip)
½ cup powdered sugar
Topping:
½ cup chopped peanuts
½ cup Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
Chocolate fudge sauce for garnish
First spread a thin layer, about half of the fudge
sauce, on the crust. Mix together the remaining filling ingredients until
smooth. Spread on top of chocolate layer. Top with the peanuts and the chopped
peanut butter cups. Heat the remaining chocolate sauce and drizzle over the
top. Place in the freezer for several hours before serving. Serves 6 to 8.

We must try this recipe!
Thinking about holiday goodies, are you all making fudge this year for Christmas?
I think your clan would enjoy this, Aunt Debbie!
Yes, we do plan to make fudge in honor of Grandpa this year. It won't be aged like his, but still good!
