Recipe--Cheese Biscuits

Here is yet another recipe from our Thanksgiving table! These delicious biscuits remind us of the famous cheese biscuits at Red Lobster. They make a great accompaniment to a meal, especially soup!
 
Cheese Biscuits
 
 
2 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick)
2/3 cup milk
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup parmesan cheese
¼ cup butter
1 teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon garlic salt
 
Preheat oven to 450°F. Stir together baking mix, milk and cheeses until soft dough forms. Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 20 minutes, or until bottoms are lightly browned. Melt butter, and add parsley flakes and garlic salt. Brush over warm biscuits. Makes 12-15 biscuits.
