Some of you may remember friends of ours who visited us just a few short weeks ago for dinner and a birthday celebration. We ask that you would join us in praying for their family. Late Saturday night, their barn went up in flames. Over a six-hour period, it burned to the ground. Thankfully, all of them are safe, but they have also lost a lot. As farmers, their barn held a lot of equipment, animals, and other important things. Three other outbuildings were also reduced to smoldering piles. Please pray for them as they determine their next course of action and as they recover from this huge loss. If you’d like to read more, you can read the account on Amy’s blog here. I saw Amy's post this morning and feel so bad for them! What a difficult time for them and a great loss . . . though, I am so thankful that they are all right and that most of their animals were able to be saved!
