We have a slightly abnormal cat. Most cats do not have an affinity for water, but rather despise it when it is not being taken internally. Our cat is an exception to the rule. Zack is obsessed with water. It’s not that he doesn’t mind it; he actively looks for it. He can often be found in the Jacuzzi (pictured above). Whenever someone walks in the bathroom, he starts meowing and loves it when someone caves and turns the water on for him. He will sit there and play all day if we let him!
It’s also not uncommon to go upstairs to take a shower, and lo and behold, the cat is sitting in the tub! He loves to clean the water off the shower whenever someone is finished using it.
Does anybody else have a cat as quirky as ours? Zack is also quite a hog when it comes to heat. He will sprawl out across a heat vent, or lie on the bathroom sink (a big no-no!) in front of the vent on the wall. He’s a funny, funny cat! Of course, we wouldn’t have him any other way! J

You have now, Amy! :-) Although he likes playing with water, he doesn't enjoy being doused with water. He likes to be friends with water on his own terms. :-)
