Mark—I really enjoyed our trip to Washington D.C. and Virginia that we took last year. It was great to see family and all of the sights. I also enjoyed our trip to Charlevoix, Michigan several years ago.
Enjoying the paddleboat on the lake in Charlevoix. |
The beautiful log cabin on Nowland Lake in Charlevoix. |
All of us in front of the Potomac River at Mt. Vernon, home of our first President, George Washington. This was probably our favorite place in Washington D.C.! |
Ben—I enjoyed Washington D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, and Disney World.
We went to West Virginia years ago with dear friends of ours and had fun seeing different sights. Road trips are always more fun with good friends! |
Our reason for visiting Kentucky was so that we could visit the Creation Museum. We highly recommend it if you have the chance! |
All of us kids with our cousin in Puerto Rico. We enjoyed meeting our Great Grandmother, as well as several Great Aunts, Uncles, and cousins on the trip. |
Our family (minus Mom snapping the picture) with our grandparents at the entrance to Epcot in Disney World. |

One of my favorite family vacations was the time we went to the Straits of Mackinac for Betsy's birthday in April. It was before tourist season and we just had a relaxing time together (and got a good deal on fudge).
Greenfield Village, John Deere, Joel n' Judith's house, and every July 4th camp-out week.
Oh, that sounds like fun, Amy! I loved visiting Mackinac City and Mackinac Island. The deal on fudge sounds especially fun. :-)

I want to go to Greenfield Village again, Betsy! We went there when I was little but I don't remember much about it. Your other vacations sound like fun as well!
