Mark—Anything outdoors! That was simple. I enjoy running outside, hiking in the woods, camping, swimming at the beach, and many other outdoor events. I also enjoy cookouts at our church pavilion.
Betsy—I love “Devos on the Deck.” That means sitting on our deck in the very early morning, reading my Bible and listening to the many bird calls. Over the years, I’ve tried to learn to identify which birds are singing. In recent years, we’ve eaten breakfast on our front porch a lot, which I really love. Often in the summer, we pick special books to read aloud as a family. I also love to take family walks, especially if we go through a nature trail. Overall, I enjoy the slower, more relaxed pace to life.
Bianca—I have so many favorite summer activities, it’s hard to pick one! Anything involving friends is a favorite. But I have to say that my absolute favorite is spending the first week or two of July with family on vacation. We have so many memories from these trips since we’ve been taking them for as long as I can remember! We call it our “Annual Summer Vacation.”
Ben—I enjoy landscaping around our house. I also enjoy swimming, running, and hiking. I enjoy cookouts, especially the ones we have at church. And I also love having a good ice cream cone!
Rubia—Going to the park and having picnics is one of my favorite summer activities. I also like swimming and having ice cream!
Roma—I like swimming at the beach, having picnics at the park, going to get ice cream, and going to summer camps.
Josiah—I love going on picnics in the summertime. I also like going to the park. I like playing football and baseball and cooling down with an ice cream cone.
