Low Key Halloween

With our focus turned mostly towards our impending move, life has been pretty low-key around here lately. It’s not that we haven’t been doing a lot; we’ve just been very flexible and spontaneous about everything lately.

It’s actually been kind of nice not being so worried about keeping every little tradition this year. We have the freedom to relax and just enjoy this season of life right now. So our Halloween this year was very simple and low key.

Josiah was the only one who dressed up this year. This cowboy is ready for Texas! J

Roma and I took him trick-or-treating to a few houses on our street. He actually wanted to come home earlier than planned because he was too cold! The cold weather seemed to keep a lot of the kids indoors, so we didn’t have nearly as many trick-or-treaters as we normally do. But the ones that did come by got plenty of candy as well as gospel tracts.

After trick-or-treat hours were over, we popped popcorn and broke into our candy and watched old Little House on the Prairie episodes on DVD.

All set and ready for the movie!

And that was our Halloween for this year!
